Summer Learning Journey Day 5 Activity 1

In this activity I had to ranstal 5 Maori phrases into english...

  1. Nau mai ki Aotearoa.
  2. Ko Harrison toku ingoa.
  3. He aha to ingoa.
  4. He pai taku ki te takaro i te whutupaoro.
  5. No hea koe?

  1. Welcome to New Zealand.
  2. Harrison is my name.
  3. What is your name?
  4. I like to play rugby.
  5. Where do you come from?

Another great post is complete!! Fantastic work on translating those phrases! They must be too easy for you!

Here is a challenge: Write 3 phrases in Maori telling me about either a sport you play, music or subject you like at school. You can make sure they are correct using Google translator.
